This is the project that you've been waiting for! Your chance to write a song about Lafayette! Please send me some thoughts about a possible song title, lyrics and a very cool baseline. I will post some of my ideas and music wav files later today. I'm so excited and I actually got to meet Nelsan recently at the Clinton, LA filming a few weeks back. Ok, here's some more details about this project...
ReplyDeleteI want to create a song for the next True Blood Sound track or an episode song for Season 3. I need your help - The FANS of True Blood. The song will be a compilation of your input based on the character, Lafayette. I thought we should play a bit with the subplot of how Lafayette was "spared" by Alan Ball this season since the book SPOILER kills him off a bit earlier. So the the theme is, "Immortality" and may be a decent first draft for a song name. We need the song to fit Lafayette's sexy, cool and tough attitude. So it needs some funk...some old school baseline...and maybe a 70's theme song guitar rift or two.
Your thoughts? Don't be shy. There may be a You Tube video to go along with this effort and those of you that contribute will be a part of it all! Write on...
